Taste changes always if a rival company 🏭 is offering a better plan in less amount as compared to currently using an item of the same field. It is also applied to network 🗼 field. Take an example: First I used to recharge of Rs. 119 for 1 GB in Airtel but after the launching of Jio (Should I say something more after that ? 🤣) If you can solve Trigonometry equation then you can also understand what I am trying to say 😃. So let’s discuss today’s topic, today we will discuss Reliance port (How to Port). Stay with me to know more about it.

Update: Reliance Is Shutting Down

What is Port 🤔?

Before going to match lets first do some workout 🚵 like lets know about Port! In my words port means switching from one network to another network without changing our number 📞. That’s it. I will not make it lengthy.

Why Should I Port Reliance?

If you love your money and if you are getting same comfort and all facility in another network 🗼 in cheap price then without thinking 💭 twice you should move on.

Pros ✅ of Reliance Port:

  • You don’t have to change your current mobile number
  • Better Network coverage 🗼 if you have network issue with current network
  • Cheap pricing if you are thinking that your current network is too expensive
  • And much more are in queue.

Cons 🚫 of Reliance Port:

If you are getting rid out of currently problem by port then I don’t think 💭 it has any cons but everything has pros and cons so according to my way I can see only one cons of port and that is:

  • It takes 1 week for port 😲
  • You have to pay Rs. 💰 19 for port

Things to Remember 💭 Before Reliance Port:

  • You can also port your current number from prepaid connection to postpaid connection
  • If you want to port to another network, first you have complete 90 days in current network from the day of activation of your mobile number.
  • You can also port your current service provider to any other city in India
  • You have to give Rs. 💰 19 for this process
  • Port process takes 7 days for implement
  • If you are a POSTPAID user than pleases fill your due bill before applying for port.
  • You can port to any network you want

Important Documents 📃 You should have For Reliance Port:

  • First of all a passport size photograph 🖼 of yours.
  • An ID proof like Aadhar Card or DL (Driving License) that shows your address.
  • Maybe you need to fill Mobile Number Portability form
  • You should also have your current mobile number, operator name and UPC (Unique Port Code) code, it is of 8 digits

Reliance Port Tricks:

Before going to the main post, Dominic Toretto has some cool tricks that will help you to give some extra help 🤝 regarding this post, I mean let’s have some information regarding this post like more cool stuffs for new Reliance users, so if you going to port in Reliance then you must read these post to some extra fun having Reliance:

    1. Good afternoon buddy, we are sorry for your inconvenience. Buddy, sometimes network don’t want to lose their customers that’s why they don’t send UPC number, please give a one more try SMS “PORT” (give space) “your reliance number” and send it to “1900” if you still don’t receive UPC code then call on 198 (there is a trick to talk to them please follow this) Simply call them on 198 and follow what computer is saying, you might hear about “internet” related option, just follow it and carefully go for an option called “mobile se pc me internet chalane ke liye” something like this. There you can talk to customer care officer and solve your problem. Remember you have to follow internet option and then “phone ko pc se connnect karne ke liye”. This will help you. Try this in late light or early morning at that time they pick up easily

  7. Hi Sunny,

I gotta tell you, you are doing a great job here on TECHKY UNIVERSE.

Can you solve a problem of mine?

I tried to port my reliance number but unfortunately i did it in wrong way. I sent the message to 1900 “PORT” and forgot to mention my mobile number in it.
Now my billing number has stopped making Outgoing call, Outgoing messages, Internet has stopped. Its a very special number , also its very old number of mine.
    I cant loose this number.
I tried calling reliance customer care by my vodafone and airtel numbers but its not going anywhere i suppose reliance has stopped its customer care center’s.
Calling for 198 from my reliance number is also not giving any results.

Can you happen to know any ways from which i can start my outgoings of reliance number, or any odd ways to PORT it?
Do you have any solutions at all?
Your suggestions and solutions will be more than welcomed.

    1. Goooooooooooooooooooooooood evening dear, first of all, I want to give you a treat for saying such good words for me. Here they are :🍦🍬🍫🥜(I can only afford that) 😅.
Now let’s discuss your smallest problem, um it’s not a problem, actually.
As you said you forgot to mention your number while sending messages. Now, I want to ask you, Did you receive UPC code or any other message regarding PORT? Your answer would be “NO” because it’s incomplete process, you can’t receive UPC number until you mention your porting number (I also tried after reading your comment). So, be tension free and try again.
Now, let’s delete the second problem from your life, you said your all services suddenly stopped. Let me clear, this is not because of porting process. Dear if you are receiving reliance signal then I’ll recommend you to keep trying porting process and at this time don’t forget to mention your number.
See, like you, hundreds of reliance users are trying to port or call customer care so I believe their server will be hell busy now if you want to talk to them please try late night and early morning. If they still are not picking up call, use your scooty and rush to nearest reliance store and discuss your query. I believe they have a solution for it.
You are saying it’s very old number then why don’t want to upgrade it to 4G sim if you don’t want to lose.
I hope my comment will give you a breath of relief if you are still getting an error then you better know where to visit 😉.
Enjoy your Sunday and don’t forget to see “The Drama Company”, Good night ❤️️

    1. Good afternoon sir, like you thousands of reliance customers would be trying to port.
      1. Please try this process early in the morning or late night.
      2. You can also talk to Reliance customer care on 198.
      3. Sir, if possible can you wait for a time till the crowd gets the minimum and after that try to port. If you are a 3G customer, upgrade it to 4G.
If you still have doubts, please visit again ❤️️

    1. Good evening brother, you may use 3G services that’s why you are not receiving signal, please follow these steps given below:
#1. Please first select “4G network” in network mode and try to send port sms

    1. Good evening buddy, thanks for visiting TechkyUniverse. Buddy, I can’t port your number if I do so it will show invalid option, you yourself have to try. See, follow these steps to port if you are not receiving port number.
#1. If you are not receiving signal then change your network settings from 3G to 4G or LTE to receive signal and then try to port.
#2. If you are using a 3G sim then upgrade it to 4G to get your network back (if it lost) and try to port it.
#3. See buddy, like you hundreds of people would be also trying to port so might their server got busy, keep trying in the early morning or late night because at that time their server may be free.
#3. If you want more than you can talk to Reliance customer care on “18001003333” or “30333333” (from non reliance number.
All the best if you still have some doubt don’t forget to remember us ❤️️

    1. Time for celebration dear, I got an answer for your problem. See if you want to port your Reliance number then follow these methods, actually I’m telling you to port in vodafone.
#1. As you said you run a business then you must have many employees who must be using vodafone sim, if not then you have to find an vodafone using person.
#2. After getting vodafone using person, simply take its mobile and dial this code UPCN (your reliance number) MUM (MUM is because you live in mumbai if you live in other state then your city region code would be different) and send it to 199.
#3. In 24 hours vodafone customers will send you porting code to that vodafone number now you can easily port in your reliance number.
#4. See, I told you about vodafone if you want another operator then you must have to contact them about “how can I port in your network”, they will tell you full process but as you said you are losing your business then I’ll recommend you to use this method.
Best of luck if you still have some doubts, you better know where to come ❤️
